Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer. This role is hybrid with on-site and remote work within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC facility, with relocation support within the United States.

You will design advanced real-time DSP algorithms for high-power three-phase UPS systems, energy storage, and AI load-smoothing products. Responsibilities span concept through production with a global, multidisciplinary team,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years real-time digital controls experience
MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years real-time digital controls experience
PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years real-time digital controls experience
H1B sponsorship for qualified candidates currently in the USA will be provided

Responsibilities

Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and schedules
Provide guidance and leadership to other technical project team members
Collaborate with global product development teams to address performance, safety, reliability and component issues
Develop mathematical models and DSP control algorithms for power electronics systems
