Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer Specialist to join our hybrid Raleigh, NC team. The role focuses on developing real-time DSP algorithms for high-power three-phase UPS systems and energy storage products, with relocation and visa sponsorship support as needed.

You will collaborate with global product teams, apply MATLAB/Simulink for simulations, and contribute to advanced power electronics control designs, while ensuring schedules, costs,

Qualifications

Real-time DSP/control design experience for power electronics.
Experience with UPS, energy storage, and high-power three-phase systems.
Strong MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting requirements and cost targets.
Guide and mentor other technical team members.
Work with global teams to solve performance, safety, and reliability issues.
Develop and validate DSP control algorithms for power conversion.
Validate designs using real-time simulations and OPAL-RT.
