Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking an experienced digital content leader to own and optimize our enterprise content strategy across brand websites, retailer channels, and AI-enabled search. You will steer SEO/AEO, manage agency relationships, and define standards for product copy, metadata, and imagery.

You will drive content creation and optimization for discoverability and conversion, oversee content workflows, and lead KPI tracking with analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, content strategy, SEO, or digital shelf.
• Proven ability to set strategy, KPIs, and translate insights into business recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals, content optimization, and digital analytics.

Responsibilities

• Owns and executes the enterprise digital content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, digital shelf, and AI-powered search experiences.
• Leads Flowers Foods’ SEO, AEO, and AI Visibility strategy and execution, including roadmaps, agency direction, and performance reporting.
• Manages relationships with agencies and platform partners for content, ratings and reviews, and digital shelf initiatives.
• Defines and governs digital content standards, including product copy, SEO/AEO copywriting, imagery, and metadata.
• Leads creation and optimization of new content and retailer-specific content that improves discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
• Owns website content workflows and optimization priorities, partnering with brand teams on recommendations.
• Owns project plans and timelines for new content launches, ensuring approvals and dependencies.
• Sets digital content and AI Visibility KPIs; analyzes performance to improve search rank, content coverage, image quality, and conversion.
• Monitors trends and translates opportunities into scalable standards and action plans.
• Provides strategic oversight to DAM+PIM operations and content updates.
• Owns ratings and reviews strategy to increase volume and improve quality.
