Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a senior Digital Content Lead to own and execute the enterprise content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, and AI-powered search.

You will drive SEO, AEO, and AI visibility initiatives, manage partner relationships, and govern content standards to boost discoverability and conversion. The role requires 7–10 years in digital marketing/CS, strong KPI-driven analytics, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in digital marketing, ecommerce, content strategy, SEO, or related fields.
• Strong KPI setting, performance analysis, and business recommendations.
• Deep knowledge of SEO, content optimization, structured data, and analytics.
• Experience with digital shelf, ratings & reviews, content syndication, or related platforms.
• Solid project management, communication, prioritization, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns and executes the enterprise digital content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, digital shelf, and AI-powered search experiences.
• Leads SEO, AEO, and AI Visibility strategy and execution, including roadmaps, agency direction, and performance reporting.
• Manages relationships with SEO/AEO agencies and content/digital shelf partners.
• Defines and governs digital content standards: copy, SEO copywriting, enhanced content, brand shop content, imagery, metadata.
• Leads creation and optimization of new content and retailer-specific content to improve discovery and conversion.
• Owns website content workflows and optimization priorities with brand teams.
• Manages project plans and timelines for new content launches with approvals and retailer requirements.
• Sets KPIs for digital content and AI visibility; analyzes performance to improve search rank and content quality.
• Monitors trends and translates opportunities into scalable action plans.
• Provides oversight to DAM/PIM content operations and governance.
• Owns ratings and reviews strategy to increase volume and improve content quality.
• Adheres to Company policies and procedures.
