Job summary

Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Sr. Shop Diesel Technician to join our team to support future growth of the Company. The Sr. Shop Diesel Technician will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light through heavy-duty trucks in a shop setting.

A successful candidate complies with company policies and maintains high performance metrics while supporting job duties and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate operating rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks.
• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment.
• Document work and parts used in RO via Karmak application.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and coordinate with service writer.
