Zusammenfassung

Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth by performing licensed DOT inspections, PM checks, and light to heavy-duty repairs in a shop setting. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience, with ASE certifications preferred within 18 months.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required; related discipline degree may apply.
• 3 years’ experience in a related field; alternative is 5 years in related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain Driver Qualification File.
• Must supply a set of hand tools to perform required duties.

Aufgaben

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance inspections.
• Carry out light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• Use diesel/hand tools, welding equipment, lifts and jacks in a shop setting.
• Document work performed and parts used on Repair Orders using company device/Karmak app.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the shop and on vehicles.
• Communicate with Service Writer and Shop Manager to obtain approvals and PO numbers.
