Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Shop Diesel Technician to support growth. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs and advanced mechanical/hydraulic/electrical diagnostics in a high-volume shop environment.

The role requires 5+ years related experience, ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, ASE 608/609 preferred, and a valid driver's license. Competitive hourly pay, benefits, and career path available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Able to obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and Preventive Maintenance inspections
• Carry out light, medium and heavy-duty repairs and diagnostics
• Document work performed and parts used on Repair Orders
• Interact with Service Writer to assess customer needs and estimate repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety policies
• Travel to customer locations as needed and support shop technicians
