Job summary

Sysco Central Alabama, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician to ensure safe, reliable vehicles for our operations in the Alabama region.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert repairs to minimize downtime and extend fleet life. The role requires diagnosing complex issues across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and refrigeration components, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within planned time tolerances.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
