Sysco is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations, including refrigeration units and electrical systems.

You will diagnose issues, document work, and mentor junior technicians, with occasional supervisory responsibilities when needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications and EPA refrigerant handling knowledge preferred.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and repair expected.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Repair components including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specs.
• Document all work on work orders and reports.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I/II to develop skills.
• May take supervisory tasks when managers unavailable.
