Job summary

Sysco Foods is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician in Allentown to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert diagnostics on our fleet vehicles and equipment. You will work on tractors, trailers, and related systems to maximize safety, reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include performing regulatory inspections, diagnosing complex faults, and ensuring accurate work order documentation. You will mentor junior technicians and may take on supervisory tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• 5 years of fleet maintenance/repair experience or 2-year school plus 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Follow proper work order documentation and maintain safety standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist Fleet Manager when needed.
