Job summary

Sysco Careers is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert diagnostics on a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, and lift-gate components, ensuring safety and reliability.

Experience with diagnostic software, required tools, and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical training in medium/heavy-duty trucks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year school plus 1 year experience or 3 years fleet maintenance experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections within planned time tolerances.
• Conduct annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions and other systems.
• Follow work order documentation procedures.
• Utilize diagnostic software and maintain tools.
