Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance inspections and expert diagnostics on fleet vehicles and equipment.

You will inspect, repair, and diagnose engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic components to minimize downtime and maximize safety and reliability. The role requires experience with OEM diagnostic software, adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations, and the ability to work with company protocols.

Qualifications

• Requires medium/heavy-duty truck technical training and a high school diploma or GED.
• Must provide own tools and diagnose a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Experience with OEM diagnostic software and DOT/OSHA safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections within planned tolerances to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, HVAC, electrical, and other systems to manufacturer specs.
• Follow work-order procedures and document all work performed.
