GFL Environmental Inc. in Justin, Texas, is seeking an experienced senior Lead Diesel / CNG Mechanic (Fleet Technician) to oversee diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of our commercial truck fleet.

You will lead complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting on Diesel and CNG vehicles, conduct DOT and brake inspections, and coordinate repair schedules. You will mentor Level B and C technicians, interpret schematics and diagnostic software, and ensure adherence to safety

Formación

• 5+ years of heavy-duty fleet maintenance experience.
• Brake Safety Certificate and EPA 609 A/C Certification required.
• ASE Certifications preferred.
• Class A or B CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG powered trucks, including engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Lead brake and vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and guide Level B and C technicians.
• Prioritize repairs to maximize efficiency and timely work orders.
• Coordinate repair schedules and review mechanical write-ups.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
