GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a senior Lead Diesel / CNG Mechanic to oversee diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of our commercial truck fleet.

You will lead complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting on Diesel and CNG vehicles, conduct DOT and brake inspections, and mentor Level B and C technicians to drive shop efficiency. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of heavy-duty fleet maintenance experience, Brake Safety Certificate, EPA 609 A/C Certification, and proficiency with

Formación

5+ years of heavy-duty fleet maintenance experience.
Brake Safety Certificate and EPA 609 certification.
ASE certifications preferred.
CDL Class A/B preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics and manuals.
Experience with DOT inspections and maintenance processes.

Responsabilidades

Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG trucks, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and fuel systems.
Lead brake and safety inspections of fleets and coordinate repair scheduling.
Mentor Level B and C mechanics to improve skills and performance.
Prioritize repairs to maximize efficiency and on-time work orders.
Oversee review of mechanic write-ups and coordinate parts orders.
