GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel and CNG maintenance technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet. Under shop leadership, you will perform inspections, test drives, and diagnostics to ensure road-ready vehicles.

You will work with senior mechanics, handle maintenance records, and complete administrative duties daily. A Class A/B CDL is preferred, and ASE certifications are a plus; 3+ years in diesel/CNG maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related regs.
• Ability to communicate across organization levels and with customers/vendors.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.
• Experience with diagnostic software preferred; able to be trained in software systems.
• Class A or B CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision.
• Perform basic inspections of brakes, engines, emissions, steering and bearings.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Complete reports, work orders, and order parts daily.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
