Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking an experienced diesel/CNG mechanic in Texas to diagnose, repair and maintain our fleet. The role requires leadership in inspections, safety compliance and coordination of repair schedules while maintaining road-ready equipment.

Candidates should have 5+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and relevant ASE certifications. CDL is preferred but not mandatory; on-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related regs.
Brake safety certificate and 609 A/C certification required.
ASE certifications preferred.
5+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel and CNG powered trucks, including engines, electrical and fuel systems.
Lead inspections of brakes, engine components and emission systems for safe operation.
Mentor level B/C mechanics and coordinate repair schedules.
Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
Complete reports, work orders and order parts daily.
