Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel/CNG Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair diesel and CNG trucks, focusing on engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel delivery.

You will lead brake and engine inspections and mentor junior mechanics to ensure safe, compliant operations. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience, ASE preferred, and the ability to interpret schematics and use diagnostic software.

Qualifications

5+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel and CNG powered trucks.
Ability to interpret detailed schematics and manuals.
Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
Proficient with diagnostic software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG powered trucks, including engines, electrical, and fuel systems.
Lead inspections of brakes, engine components, emission systems, and steering mechanisms.
Mentor and guide level B and C mechanics.
Prioritize and schedule repairs to maximize efficiency and timely completion.
Oversee repair write-ups and parts ordering; maintain safety standards.
