Enlighten, a leader in big data and cloud services, seeks a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team. The role requires strong Kubernetes and AWS expertise, automation focus, and a background in big data solutions.

This position is based on-site at Fort Meade, MD, and emphasizes mentorship and senior-level guidance within engineering teams. Candidates should have TS/SCI eligibility, 5+ years in DevOps or related fields, and proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• At least 5 years in DevOps or software development with related degree; or 3 years with masters; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS) and on-prem/edge systems.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure; monitor production systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams; provide technical guidance.
