Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure reliability and scalability of services.

The role supports a customer onsite in San Antonio, TX, requiring TS/SCI clearance eligibility. The ideal candidate has deep Kubernetes and AWS experience, scripting in Python/Bash, and a background in big data solutions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with related degree.
• Proficient in Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment/management.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go; scripting and automation.
• Familiar with Git, Flux, CI/CD tooling and Linux administration.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support on-premise and portable edge infrastructure deployments.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; improve processes.
