Job summary

Enlighten, based in Fort Meade, MD, is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer. You will implement infrastructure on AWS with Kubernetes, automate deployments, and ensure reliability and scalability of services for a major customer onsite.

The ideal candidate has strong Kubernetes and AWS experience, proficient in Terraform and Ansible, and a proven track record leading engineering teams. TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of DevOps or software development experience with related degree.
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda) knowledge.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and performance.
• Maintain and monitor production systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications.
• Provide hands-on execution and guidance as a senior contributor.
• Support on-site work at Fort Meade, MD five days a week.
