Job summary

Enlighten seeks a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in Fort Meade, MD. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure monitoring, reliability and scalability of services.

The role requires strong Kubernetes/AWS expertise, scripting in Python and Bash, and a TS/SCI security clearance. On-site work five days a week is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a related degree, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and Terraform/Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS).
• Support non-cloud (Edge) on‑premise and portable infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems; resolve issues.
