Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, Linux, and scripting, with a background in big data solutions.

Work is performed in a hybrid environment (1–2 days on-site) with a collaborative team. The role requires DoD 8140/8570 compliance or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire, and offers a competitive salary and

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140/8570 compliance or willing to obtain within 60 days.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software development with related degree.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge for container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS: EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficient Linux system administration.
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Git and CI/CD tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices.
