Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will excel in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, and Big Data solutions, with strong scripting in Python/Bash and experience in Linux administration.

This role requires a TS/SCI level clearance, 9+ years of experience (or equivalent) and a willingness to work onsite five days a week. A $20K sign-on bonus is offered for eligible hires, with a generous compensation range of

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SI/SCI eligibility required (citizenship).
• 9+ years in DevOps or software development with related degree, or 13+ years with HS diploma.
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS experience; IaC with Terraform/Ansible.
• Experience deploying and managing CI/CD, automation, and Linux systems.
• Proficient in Python/Bash/Go and scripting; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure deployment in AWS (EKS) and on-prem edge infra.
• Automate deployment processes for reliable, scalable services.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure; monitor systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate apps into the platform.
• Lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams; stay current on tech trends.
