Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The candidate will lead Kubernetes-based orchestration, automate deployment, and ensure reliability and scalability of services in a hybrid environment with 1–2 days on-site in San Antonio, TX.

Ideal candidates will have strong AWS, Linux, scripting in Python/Bash, and experience with CI/CD, configuration management (Terraform/Ansible), and Big Data solutions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140 / 8570 compliant certifications (Security+ or equivalent) or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• 5+ years DevOps Engineering or Software Development and a Bachelor's in related field; or 3 years with a Masters; or 9 years with a HS diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible; Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of on-premise and portable Edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems; resolve issues promptly.
