Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced development team in Hanover, MD (rotate onsite schedule) with some remote flexibility. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure monitoring, reliability, and scalability of services.

The role requires strong Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, Linux, Python/Bash/Go programming, and a background in Big Data solutions. This is a mid-senior level position with growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications required (Security+)
• 9+ years DevOps or software development experience; or 7+ years with a Master’s
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment/management use
• Proficient Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with application/container/OS deployment, scaling, management
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and related deployment tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Familiarity with AGILE software development methodologies

Responsabilidades

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS
• Support development and deployment of on-premise and portable Edge infrastructure
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues
• Continuously improve processes and tools for high availability and performance
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends
• Other duties as assigned
