Job summary

Enlighten seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate has strong Kubernetes, AWS, and scripting skills, including Python and Bash, with experience in big data solutions and automation.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, on-site work five days a week, and a focus on reliability, scalability, and collaboration across teams. A sign-on bonus may apply and generous benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• 5+ years DevOps or software development; or 3+ years with Master's; or 9+ years with HS.
• Kubernetes or similar container orchestration expertise.
• Experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go; Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud and on-prem infrastructure deployment and management.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS resources.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate apps into infra.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams as a tech lead.
• Maintain DoD 8140/8570 compliance requirements.
• Work onsite at Fort Meade, MD five days a week.
