Job summary

Enlighten seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced development team. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure the reliability and scalability of services, with a focus on Kubernetes, AWS, and edge/on-prem solutions.

The role supports a customer onsite in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or software, strong Kubernetes and AWS experience, and hands-on leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required.
• Willing to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software with a related Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Python/Bash/Go.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• On-site in San Antonio, TX 3–5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Deploy and manage non-cloud on-prem/edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scale.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate apps into infra.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of tooling and processes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; provide leadership.
