Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain infrastructure for a mission-critical public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, and observability to enable engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana. The role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for applications.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS/Azure infrastructure for scalable, reliable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and deployments.
• Enhance platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
• Build internal tooling to improve developer productivity and reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt DevOps best practices and improve deployment workflows.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
