Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, observability, and enabling engineering teams to ship software quickly, collaborating with Engineering, Security, and Product.

You will leverage AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to improve infrastructure, build internal tooling, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or similar infra-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Build internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity and streamline deployments.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and reliable deployment workflows.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and potential points of failure.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
• Own and drive infrastructure projects for long-term platform health.
• Contribute to mission-critical and socially responsible software for first responders.
• Collaborate across Platform Division and with Product, Engineering, Security, and Technical Services.
