Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Development Project Engineer to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on data center projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers and Vendors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires a BS in Science or Engineering, 3+ years in commercial construction, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for program updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate updates on development program & project status for executive reviews.
• Develop master development program for site(s) including campus design and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project(s).
• Establish site schedules and manage teams to on-time completion.
• Review monthly pay applications from contractors and negotiate pricing.
