Job summary

Btechnical Group is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Specialist to provide Tier 2–3 support at our Arlington, TX site. The role focuses on hardware diagnosis, device lifecycle, and day-to-day end-user support in a high-visibility environment.

You’ll support macOS and Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Jamf, and light Intune, with occasional travel between Arlington and Frisco for coverage. This is a long-term contract that may convert to permanent based on fit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on desktop support in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hardware skills including diagnostics and component replacement.
• Experience with macOS and Windows, iPadOS and iOS devices.
• Proficient with Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience with Jamf and light Intune administration.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and mobile devices with hardware swaps.
• Escalate Tier 1 issues and resolve complex hardware and software problems.
• Support device lifecycle activities: imaging, configuration, deployment, inventory, disposal.
• Administer macOS and Windows environments, including Office 365 and AD.
• Manage devices with Jamf and light Intune administration.
• Assist with VoIP, cellular devices, and POS support for events and retail sites.
• Support event and gameday technology operations and maintain KB articles.
• Coordinate with vendors and ISPs when required.
