This is a long-term contract opportunity that will most likely convert to permanent down the road, assuming a good fit for all. Benefits and perks for FTEs are truly second to none.
They are seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 2-2.5 break-fix support across corporate, stadium, and event operations. You’ll focus heavily on hardware diagnosis and repair, device lifecycle work, and reliable day-to-day support for end users in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including component-level swaps and hardware repairs
- Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 issues and resolve complex hardware, software, and basic networking problems
- Support device lifecycle activities: imaging, configuration, deployment, inventory, and secure disposal
- Administer and support macOS and Windows environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory
- Manage devices with Jamf and light Intune administration (increased Intune usage on event devices)
- Assist with VoIP, cellular devices, and Point-of-Sale (POS) support for retail and stadium operations as needed
- Support event and gameday technology operations
- Maintain accurate knowledge base articles and follow established processes and naming conventions
- Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for service issues when required
What We’re Looking For
- Solid mid-to-senior-level desktop support experience (typically 3+ years in an enterprise environment)
- Strong hands-on hardware skills: diagnosis, repair, and component replacement
- Proven experience supporting both macOS and Windows, iPadOS, and iOS devices
- Working knowledge of Office 365 and Active Directory
- Experience with Jamf and/or Intune (light-to-moderate admin)
- Excellent attention to detail and process adherence - ability to follow documented procedures consistently (especially device naming, imaging, and user setup)
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Professionalism, discretion, and accountability in a high-profile environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended periods on your feet during events
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours for gamedays and events
- Ability to travel occasionally between facilities (Arlington and Frisco) for coverage
Nice to Have
- Experience using, deploying, or supporting Microsoft Copilot (or similar AI tools) for end users
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (equivalent experience considered)
