Job summary

CompuCom is seeking a Desktop Tech III in San Francisco to deliver deskside IT support for laptop/desktop hardware and software, deploy mobile devices, printers, and standard productivity software on site. You will assist the client’s IT team with network initiatives and manage asset tagging per SOP.

The role requires 2–3+ years of IT support, Windows 10/11 experience, excellent customer service, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
• Provide exceptional customer service interfacing with high profile client executives onsite.
• Excellent time management and reporting skills.
• Laptop/Desktop/Printer hardware and software support and refresh experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a deskside service to the client for support on the laptop / desktop related hardware / software break fix incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and support mobile devices, printers, RF Scanners, and standard productivity software, for internal users at the site.
• Provide "Smart Hands” support related to the access points and switches based on the SOP.
• Assist client's IT team with network and infrastructure initiatives, including hardware and systems administration.
• Participate in meetings and planning sessions related to maintenance, upgrade, infrastructure inventory & risk assessment, and disaster recovery at the site.
• Take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements as guided by client IT support teams.
• Asset tagging and updating asset database based on the SOP provided by client.
