Job summary
CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Seattle, WA. You will provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting end users.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in desktop support, knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365, and familiarity with ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years in desktop support or help desk environments.
- Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues and document steps taken.
- Manage end-user tickets and adhere to SLAs.
- Assist with device imaging, deployment, and asset management.
- Escalate complex issues to advanced teams when needed.
- Maintain knowledge base and contribute to process improvements.
