Job summary

Compum Staffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the team onsite in Seattle, WA. You will provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, resolving hardware and software issues and maintaining asset inventories.

The role requires 1–3+ years in desktop support, familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365, and basic networking knowledge. Excellent communication and customer service are essential for success in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in IT/CS preferred
• 1–3+ years of desktop support or help desk experience
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless) and ITSM familiarity

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Configure and deploy endpoint devices per procedures
• Manage tickets and SLAs using the designated system
• Assist with inventory, asset tracking, and device lifecycle tasks
• Troubleshoot basic networking including wireless and printers
• Support OS upgrades, software installs, and rollout projects
• Contribute to knowledge base and process improvements
