Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Tech III to join our team in a deskside IT support role. You will handle hardware/software break fixes for laptops/desktops and support mobile devices, printers, and network devices onsite for a client site.

The role requires 2–3+ years of IT support experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work with executive leadership onsite. You will lift and move equipment as needed and participate in security and infrastructure initiatives as

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years IT support experience.
• Must have experience with Windows 10 and 11.
• Provide exceptional customer service interfacing with high profile client executives onsite.
• Provide excellent time management and reporting skills.
• Laptop/Desktop/Printer hardware and software support and refresh experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.
• Occasionally works at heights of 20’ to 25’, lift equipment training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a deskside service to the client for support on laptop/desktop hardware and software break fix incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and support mobile devices, printers, RF scanners, and standard productivity software for internal users onsite.
• Provide Smart Hands support related to access points and switches per SOP and client guidance.
• Assist client's IT team with network and infrastructure initiatives, including hardware and systems administration.
• Participate in meetings and planning sessions for maintenance, upgrades, inventory, risk assessment, and disaster recovery at the site.
• Take appropriate action for non-compliance with security requirements per client guidance.
• Asset tagging and updating asset database per SOP.
