Job summary
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to participate in architecture discussions, system reviews, and technology roadmap planning for desktop integration efforts. You will implement and optimize OS images, deploy software with MECM/MDT, and support patching and security controls across desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.

Qualifications
- Experience upgrading desktops from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and integrating with MS Exchange/Office.
- Ability to work with Windows 10 image engineering on Intel hardware and various 3rd party apps.
- Knowledge of security controls in images and anti-virus integration.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for Desktop OS images and deployment strategies.
- Develop and implement software distribution packages for desktops and servers.
- Evaluate hardware for desktops/laptops/tablets/servers in the enterprise.
- Support OS patching infrastructure and vulnerability remediation.
