Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a design systems leader to drive evolution and governance of our design system across web and native mobile experiences. You will own components, tokens, documentation, and accessibility, partnering closely with engineering to ensure parity between design and code.

The role emphasizes WCAG/ADA compliance, a strong emphasis on responsive design, and collaboration with product managers to shape iterative design cycles with a focus on quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail and design quality.
• In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and advocating accessible design approaches.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences, in partnership with product managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, review, test, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources and guide teams on component behavior across responsive experiences.
• Ensure accessibility from the start and document expectations for designers and engineers.
• Write and prioritize backlog items for the design system with product and engineering partners.
