Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a senior UX designer to lead and evolve the company Design System across web and native mobile platforms. You will own components, tokens, documentation, and governance while partnering with engineering to ensure parity between design and code.

You will advocate WCAG/ADA practices, drive accessibility from the start, mentor designers, and help shape how AI tools are integrated into design workflows.

Qualifications

• ,Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
• Advanced Figma skills including tokens and parity with development.
• Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, test, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between design and code across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components and patterns from the start.
• Advocate for WCAG/ADA-aligned practices and document accessibility expectations.
• Maintain design system documentation with usage guidance and specs.
• Support the system's AI readiness through documentation, tokens, and guidance.
• Lead design system meetings and team rituals.
• Communicate updates and drive adoption across teams.
• Govern design system backlog with product and engineering teams.
• Translate user and product needs into actionable work.
• Partner with product managers as UX counterpart for initiatives.
• Design user-centered solutions aligned with business goals and metrics.
• Produce concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, and specs.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
• Synthesize findings into product decisions and communicate results.
