Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking an experienced design systems lead to drive the evolution and governance of our design system across web and native mobile experiences. You will own components, patterns, tokens, and documentation, collaborating closely with engineering to ensure parity between design and code.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in product/UX design, advanced Figma skills, and strong knowledge of WCAG/ADA accessibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design
• 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field
• Proven experience managing and evolving a design system
• Strong accessibility knowledge (WCAG/ADA) and inclusive design
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences
• Advanced Figma skills including tokens and AI tools
• Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design system and product design work

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, and governance practices.
• Plan, design, review, test, and release design system updates with engineering.
• Ensure parity between designed and coded sources across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components and patterns from the start.
• Document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers.
• Maintain design system documentation, usage guidance, and specifications.
• Lead design system governance and prioritize backlog with product owner.
• Mentor designers and raise design craft and system fluency across the team.
