Job summary

Ensora Health seeks a senior UX/design systems lead to steer the evolution of our design system across web and mobile experiences. You will own components, tokens, and documentation, while collaborating closely with engineering to ensure parity between design and code.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or UX design, incl. 3+ years leading design systems.
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and practices (WCAG/ADA).
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Advanced Figma skills: components, prototyping, token management, AI tools, parity with code.
• Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library; HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Strong communication; portfolio showing design system and product design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, review, test, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between design and code; guide teams on component behavior across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components from the start and advocate WCAG/ADA practices.
• Document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers; test solutions for usability.
• Keep design system documentation up-to-date with usage guidance and specs.
• Support AI readiness through tokens, guidance, and tooling integration.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, critiques, and governance reviews.
• Translate user/technical needs into actionable backlog items with product.
• Partner with product managers for TheraNest initiatives; contribute design and research insights.
• Create user-centered solutions aligned with business goals and success metrics.
• Produce artifacts: concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specs.
