Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a senior design systems lead to guide the evolution of our design system across web and native mobile experiences. You will own components, patterns, tokens, and governance, partnering with engineering to plan, review, test, and release updates while ensuring accessibility and parity between design and code.

You will mentor designers, strengthen design craft, and translate user and product needs into actionable work, collaborating with product managers on TheraNest

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or UX design with design systems leadership.
• Bachelor’s in design, HCI, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to evolve a design system with components, tokens, and governance.
• Strong UI/UX design skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile.
• Own components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release updates.
• Ensure parity between design and code, and guide responsive behavior.
• Embed accessibility from the start and advocate WCAG/ADA practices.
• Maintain comprehensive design system docs, usage guidelines, and specs.
• Support AI readiness with docs, tokens, guidance, and tooling integrations.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, critiques, and rituals.
• Gather feedback, drive adoption, and inform system evolution with product goals.
• Prioritize backlog items with product owners and engineering to translate needs into work.
• Mentor designers and raise design craft and system fluency across the team.
• Partner with product managers on TheraNest initiatives and align with stakeholders.
