Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive the evolution of our design system across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with engineering to ensure parity between design and code, while guiding teams on component usage, accessibility, and governance.

You will partner with product management on TheraNest initiatives, applying user research and design skills to create accessible, responsive experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and accessible design approaches.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Experience collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative cycles.
• Advanced Figma skills, including tokens, prototyping, and parity with code.
• Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library, plus HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present and critique designs.
• Online portfolio demonstrating design system and product design work; portfolio required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve design system components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and accessibility standards.
• Partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded components and guide teams on behavior across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components from the outset and advocate for WCAG/ADA practices.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing in collaboration with product partners.
• Create design artifacts including wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specs, and deliverables.
• Mentor other designers and elevate design craft and system fluency across the team.
• Translate user, product, and technical needs into clear, actionable backlog items with product owners.
• Collaborate with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives.
