Job summary

Ensora Health seeks a Senior Product Designer to guide the evolution and governance of its design system across web and mobile, ensuring parity with coded components and accessibility compliance. Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail and design quality.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and implementing accessible design approaches.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Experience designing complex products with product managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Advanced Figma skills: components, prototyping, branching, tokens, AI tools, documentation, parity between design and code.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on a coded component library; understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Strong communication, presenting to stakeholders, and receiving/giving design critique.
• Portfolio showing design system and product design work; experience using AI tools in design/research.
• Experience preparing design systems to work with AI-enabled tools and development practices.
• Experience in healthcare/behavioral health or regulated/data-sensitive products.
• Experience migrating legacy interfaces to modern design systems.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing React components or with Material UI.
• Experience using product analytics to inform design decisions and measure outcomes.
• User research and usability testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, QA, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources and guide teams on component behavior across responsive experiences.
• Advocate for accessibility, document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers, and ensure WCAG/ADA alignment.
• Maintain design system documentation, including usage guidance, responsive behaviors, specs, implementation considerations, and accessibility standards.
• Support AI readiness through documentation, tokens, guidance, skills, and connections.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, demonstrations, critiques, and other rituals.
• Write and prioritize design system backlog items in collaboration with product owner and engineering.
• Collaborate with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives.
