Job summary

Horrocks is looking for a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager in Pleasant Grove, UT to guide transportation design efforts on DB/PDB projects. You will lead teams, coordinate with discipline leads, and ensure timely delivery of roadway designs, studies, and reports for regional projects.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years in transportation design, 5+ years leading roadway design, and 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB programs, with strong communication and client relations skills.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Utilize Microstation OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and related software.
• Work as a team leader in a group environment and maintain strong client relations.
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate clearly with clients, staff, and management; meet deadlines.
• Grow professionally by contributing to project goals.
