Job summary

Horrocks in Pleasant Grove, UT seeks a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager to drive drainage design for transportation projects within our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead engineering teams, deliver hydraulic analyses, and coordinate with other discipline leads to meet project goals.

The role requires 10+ years in drainage design leadership, 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB, and strong communication with clients. Local and Rocky Mountain Region projects are possible, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D; other software used in transportation drainage engineering.
• Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment; maintain positive client relationships.
