Job summary

Horrocks in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for its Transportation team to drive structural design on highways and interchanges. You will coordinate with discipline leads and clients to deliver projects end-to-end.

The role requires 10+ years in transportation structures design, 5+ years in leadership, 3+ years DOT DB/PDB experience, and a PE license preferred. Local and Rocky Mountain region projects are expected.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
Current PE license preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.

Responsibilities

Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation projects (freeways, interchanges, highways).
Coordinate with other discipline leads.
Be an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
Knowledge of standard bridge industry software.
Lead as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
Meet project deadlines.
Grow personally and professionally with each project.
