Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior bridge engineer to lead long-span and complex bridge projects across the Americas. You will engage with clients, manage design teams, and provide construction support while signing and sealing documents as needed.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in bridge design, PE license, multi-state eligibility, and expertise in cable-stayed, arch, or segmental bridges, with experience in design-build delivery. Hybrid work options available across the US.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in structural engineering or related discipline is required.
• PE license with ability to obtain license in multiple states; SE license desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of demonstrated professional experience including Engineer of Record or Lead Engineer in final design.

Responsibilities

• Represent Jacobs’ technical capabilities within your area of specialization across locations and industry events.
• Lead staff on long-span and complex bridge projects; sign and seal contract documents where appropriate.
• Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary staff, plan work and ensure project progress within schedule and budget.
