Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior technical leader to join our national bridge practice, guiding long-span and complex bridge projects across the Americas. The role includes technical leadership, plan development, and construction support, with involvement in business development and client engagement.

A PE license and extensive design experience are required, with flexibility to work from multiple US offices, including Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in structural engineering or related discipline.
• PE License with ability to obtain license in multiple states; SE License desirable.
• Minimum of fifteen years of demonstrated professional experience including Engineer of Record or Lead Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Represent Jacobs’ capabilities in long-span and complex bridges across locations and markets.
• Serve as Technical/Task Lead for design-build projects and lead staff on contract documents.
• Establish work plans, direct staff, coordinate multi-office execution, and manage budgets.
• Ensure quality, client interfaces, and coordination; mentor staff and lead technical best practices.
• Lead business development activities, client presentations, and cost estimation for major pursuits.
