Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior engineer to lead long-span bridge projects across the Americas. You will engage with clients, supervise design teams, and produce contract documents for complex structures.

The role requires a Master’s in structural engineering, a PE license, and 15+ years of experience, including leadership on demanding bridge projects. A hybrid work policy and generous benefits support your development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in structural engineering or related discipline.
• PE License with ability to obtain license in multiple states; SE License desirable.
• At least 15 years of demonstrated professional experience including Engineer of Record or Lead Engineer in charge of final design.

Responsibilities

• Represent Jacobs’ technical capabilities within your areas of specialization across locations and markets.
• Serve as Technical/Task Lead on long-span and complex bridge projects; sign and seal as appropriate.
• Direct staffing and project planning to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Lead multi-discipline design teams through development of final plans and specifications.
• Mentor staff and contribute to best practices and thought leadership.
